Ben Affleck is covering The Hollywood Reporter because he’s promoting ‘Argo’. He gives a few interesting details about his life. We knew he and Matt Damon were very good friends. But Matt moved right down the street from him and now they see each other every day. That’s awesome!

Ben also open about still being in contact with Jennifer Lopez. They were engaged before she married Marc Anthony and he married Jennifer Garner.

“We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great’. I remember when she got American Idol. I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck’. I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful”, he said about Jenny. We think he still likes her very much. It’s probably that love you can hardly forget.

But he married the other Jennifer. And she “played such a profound role in making me a better person”. His wife is that one person who made him a little more mature. “We don’t have a perfect marriage, but she inspired me”, he added.
What does this mean? We love Jennifer Garner and we don’t want her to suffer. We just hope, Ben is still in love with her. He could actually say it openly one day.
