In a way, that is correct. The Internet has brought the books back, they are there, but it is not very sure that people are reading them. Just because the books are there and you don’t have to buy them anymore is a relief that makes you forget that you actually have to read them. Sometimes the fact that you buy a book makes you read it, you have spent money on that thing, you have to make it worth it. But if you have it for granted, it is not likely that you are such a conscious person to take the chance. There is more reading, but there is not always an useful reading. A book teaches you something, a story, a news that you may read online can help you understand something. But there are some, unfortunately too many, who use the Internet just to waste time. For these people, “the damn screen” is useless.
