Chaz Bono made a metaphor here, referring to what is between someone’s ears, meaning his head. So the fact that now Chaz is standing up…is due to what he always felt inside of him. The gender issue was always something controversial. Those who understand the problem are usually those who feel it on their own skin. The others can only have sympathy, but there is always a prejudgement trace in their minds. Sexuality is either a taboo, either explosive. Not many people can talk about it without having a personal reason, most of the time it is talking about frustration, prejudgements, fear, guilt, the feeling of not being understood. Chaz Bono can be appreciated for the fact that he wants to prove his sexuality doesn’t make him a strange person and that he wants to get out of what could make him look weird.
