It was a devastating day

We all know who Priscilla Presley is, but do you know who Ginger Alden was? She was Elvis Presley’s fiancee at the time of his death. Recently, she gave an interview for ET in which she opened up about her relationship with the late star and about the day she found him dead.
“The last thing that was said to me I told him not to fall asleep in the bathroom and he said, ‘I won’t’. He turned, gave me a little wave, walked into the bathroom and I found him a little while later. It was a devastating day”, Alden revealed. She later found Elvis on the bathroom floor and that “his legs were bent, the upper part of his chest and shoulders touched the ground, and his head was slightly turned to the left with his cheek resting on the floor”. The only thing she could do was to “gently raised one eyelid. His eye was staring straight ahead”.
They has been together for nine months at the time of Elvis’ death. She was 20, he was 42.
The official cause of his death was a heart attack, but Alden confirmed that Elvis was taking too much drugs going to that point where he was having mood swings. “We were reading together and the toilet was making a noise. Elvis got up, left the room, came back with a machine gun and proceeded to shoot the toilet”, she revealed.
