Javier Bardem: A Good Movie Is Not Necessarily Rewarded!

The award is important in order to bring people to the movie theater. That’s the only principle meaning of any award.

Javier Bardem

This may sound like an irony about people’s superficiality, but, in the same time, it is true. When you know a movie was rewarded by the critics you go an see it. And you may even force yourself to consider it a good movie if the others said so. We would propose an experiment: to reward a bad movie and send everybody to see it. Then what? We will all say it is a good movie just because it has a reward? That is very possible! So, we better go an see a movie for other reasons! Read the trailer, see the actors, the director and then let yourself gone with the action!
