Jim Caviezel thinks that playing Jesus has limited his possibility to become a famous actor.

Since Mel Gibson’s ‘Passion of the Christ’, the 42-year-old actor said he was “rejected in my own industry” and he only appeared in a handful of films.

He said he knew that playing Jesus would be risky. “Jesus is as controversial now as he has ever been. Not much has changed in 2,000 years”, he said.

The girl with the black and red scarf said on Thursday, June 7th, 2012: The passion of the christ is the reason that he is wo he is today. That movie made his career when he was relatively unknown before. I never really took notice of him until the passion came out that he captured everyone's attention. I knew then that his carreer in hollywood was done cause hollywood hates Jesus and thats a fact. Thousands of years ago it was written in the bible that Jesus christ was the rock of ages, then a new Tom Cruise movie with the same title comes out and everyone forgets about Jesus. Hollywood hates Jesus and I think someone as beautiful as Jim can do better small screen movies than returning to the hollywood cycle.
