The business is so different; you can never be that new girl that has that moment of ‘Where’d she come from?’
Julia Roberts in Vanity Fair
Julia Roberts covers Vanity Fair’s April cover. The 43-year-old actress also gave an interesting interview where she mostly talks about how things have changes with her and with the industry ever since she started working as an actress.
”The business is so different; you can never be that new girl that has that moment of ‘Where’d she come from?’ There’s the express elevator and there’s rehab. It’s so awful; nobody gets a fair trial-and-error period that everybody deserves and everybody needs”, she says.
Julia is obviously questioning the quality of the films being made these days and how young actresses surround themselves with too much artificial things. She’s against the press machine surrounding Hollywood and we have to admire her for that.
