It turns out that all swimmers pee in the pool. Or at least, that’s what Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps do.

Recently, Lochte said he urinated in the pool. “I think there’s just something about getting into chlorine water that you just automatically go. I didn’t during the races, but I sure did in the warm-up”, he told Ryan Seacrest.

Days after his confession, Phelps admitted that, like Lochte, he also pees in the pool. “I think everybody pees in the pool. It’s kind of a normal thing to do with swimmers. You know, when we’re in the water for two hours we don’t really get out, you know, to pee. We just go whenever we’re on the wall. Chlorine kills it so its not bad”, the gold medal winner told the Wall Street Journal.
