Paris Jackson has talked to Oprah Winfrey and she opened about her the disguises. The 14-year-old daughter of late Michale Jackson described that period of time in her life as being “confusing”.

“I was really confused. I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask”, she told Oprah. But Paris added that she now understands why Michael made them wear masks. ” But I understand it now why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn’t be recognized”, she explained.

The teen confessed that while wearing masks in public was weird at the time, it helped her and her brothers to have a normal childhood away from the media spotlight. “We had a normal childhood including trips to the children’s arcade and restaurant Chuck E. Cheese’s”, she said.

Paris revealed that Michael wanted his children to have a normal childhood. “He told us that when he was younger he didn’t really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that. Chuck E. Cheese’s and Toys R Us were our favorite places to go”, she revealed.

Paris also added that she still finds it hard to cope with her father’s death. “‘It never gets any easier”, she said.

As for her life from now on, Paris is going to star in the upcoming fantasy movie ‘Lundon’s Bridge’ and the ‘Three Keys’. Recently, her aunt Janet Jackson said that Paris was too young to act. “We’ve spoken about the fact that you’re only a child once. I think there’s a time for everything, and now is not the time [to act in films]. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college or not, but wait till she turns 18. She’s a very tough, smart girl. But it’s a cut-throat industry. I wouldn’t want my child to do it”, Janet said.
