Taylor Momsen Promotes Female Masturbation!

I’m a promoter of masturbation. Don’t sleep around—learn yourself first! Guys do, but girls don’t. And that’s why girls have so many bad experiences. But you can know your body, know yourself, know what feels good. You don’t have to give yourself away just to have sexual relevance. Because I don’t think sex is something people should be afraid of. It’s part of human nature, so I don’t think it should be so shameful—particularly for girls and young girls

Taylor Momsen

She’s just 17-year-old, but Taylor Momsen knows what she’s talking about. She’s talking about masturbation as a way to experience the knowledge of your own body.

The singer says girls shouldn’t be ashamed to talk about pleasuring themselves because “it’s part of human nature”.

Obviously, brain is not part of Taylor’s body, so she doesn’t have any connection with it.

Actually, if masturbation keeps young girls from sleeping around, it's absolutely a good idea from a parent's perspective. From a daughter's perspective, it's good to have someone open up about masturbation as a healthy way to experience good and bad sensations. It helps promote the idea that women don't need men for everything (in this instance, satisfaction, which when left to a second party can cause codependency) and I personally think this is a very progressive statement. Kudos, Momsen. Thank you for not being Miley, Lindsay, Britney or Christina.

I agree with hannah. Female masturbation is avoided as a subject in today's media, even considered to be grossly perverse by most men and women alike. However, it has become completely acceptable to speak very openly about male masturbation in today's culture. Female masturbation is just as natural as male masturbation, and I hate to see people trying to pretend it doesn't exist, as though it will go away if you ignore it for long enough.
