I want people to f-cking…
Tom Hanks drops the F-word
Tom Hanks dropped the F-bomb live on the air. The incident occurred this morning, October 19, on ‘Good Morning America’.
The funny part is that he dropped the word just seconds before predicting he would.
Asked to speak in the same accent he does in ‘Cloud Atlas’, the actor said it’s mostly swear words. He added it would be difficult to talk like that live, but he did it in the end.
“Most of it is swear words”, he told host Elizabeth Vargas. Then he added using a thick accent: “I want people to f-cking. . .”.
The same moment he said that, the actor realized his gaffe and apologized. . “I’m sorry. I have never done that before. I want to apologize to the kids in America that are watching this right now, and let me say, next time on the show, there will be a seven-second delay”, he said.
“We are so sorry at Good Morning America. We’ll bleep that out”, Vargas also said.
“Never give me a handheld mic. I blame the staff!” Hanks joked.
